FDA Inspection of Manufacturing Facility

On January 17, 2023, Alvotech received written confirmation via email from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that the reinspection of its facility in Reykjavik, Iceland is scheduled for March 6, 2023. As previously communicated on December 22, 2022, the FDA has granted a new Biosimilar User Fee Amendment (BsUFA) goal date of April 13, 2023 for Alvotech’s Biologics License Application (BLA) for AVT02 as biosimilar to Humira^® and the approval of the application requires satisfactory outcome of a reinspection.
